Wimpy single handly shut down 118 hamburger joints 'cuz his free loading
behind refused to pay his bill.
Much like in the screenprinting industry, there have been many printers
who have fallen victim to the "Wimpy Syndrome". We don't know
who started this bad precident, but they are the cause for many screenprinters
going out of business.
Think of it this way: A total stranger comes in off the street, asks you to reach into your pocket and buy them hundreds of dollars of t-shirts, print them, pay your employees to do the work, use up your supplies and pay all the other expenses required to print those shirts, AND IF and WHEN they decide (translation: once they get the money from the individuals in their group, secure a sponsor or sell the shirts)......they will pay you for your trouble? Maybe.
 We all get our shirts from basically the same places and pay the same price. None of those prices are in the range of free. The manufacturers and suppliers want their money, so someone has to pay. It is usually the screen printer who pays in the end when he/she goes out of business because of the Wimpys of the world.
So don't even ask. The gas station isn't going to let you fill up and then
pay them later IF you get a new job or raise. Besides, if we do what you
want us to do Wimpy, the world would come to an end because we'd go out
of business and absolute chaos would insue because no one could buy $4.75
t-shirts anymore. Do you want that on YOUR conscience? We didn't think
so.
